Azerbaijan's August Crude Output Falls 8.3% Year-On-Year to 2.2 Million Tonnes

Data from Azerbaijan's State Statistical Committee reveals that the nation's total crude and condensate production for the first eight months of the year reached 17.7 million tonnes, marking a 3.8% decline compared to the same period last year.

Over the January-to-August timeframe, natural gas output also experienced a downturn, slipping 0.5% year-on-year to 33.4 billion cubic metres.

In a more pronounced monthly shift, August witnessed a steep 12.5% reduction in gas production, which totalled 2.8 billion cubic metres during that period.
