Baiwang Co., Ltd. announced that its board has approved the appointment of Mr. Wang Qiangyu, 54, as Co-General Manager, effective 14 September 2026. Acting on the nomination committee’s recommendation, the board tasked Mr. Wang with steering the Group’s AI-focused strategic planning, technology optimisation, product iteration, scenario adaptation and end-to-end commercialisation of its financial- and tax-oriented large language model (LLM). His mandate also includes accelerating the application of AI across the Group’s enterprise services to strengthen Baiwang’s competitive product ecosystem.
Mr. Wang brings more than 20 years of leadership in internet and enterprise-level products. In 2021, he founded Yisheng Jiankang (Hangzhou) Life Technology Co., Ltd., where he served as CEO and directed AI-enabled precision micro-testing and smart health management initiatives. Under his stewardship, the company launched the “Doukou Large Language Model” in July 2025, introduced China’s first gynaecological LLM that same year, and released a clinical decision-making LLM with evidence-based capabilities in November 2025, which is currently on trial in multiple medical institutions.
Earlier, Mr. Wang held senior positions at Alibaba Group (2017-2020), including Vice President of DingTalk and Head of the New Laiwang Business Unit, where he led the launch of the youth-oriented social product “Real Ruwo.” From 1998 to 2017, he founded several technology companies—Hongruan, Xunboda, Duanquwang and Qupai—garnering industry recognition such as the Alibaba Cloud Apsara Award and “Most Innovative Video Cloud Service Provider of 2016” for Qupai Cloud.
A founding member of the Great Wall Club (GWC), Mr. Wang also co-founded the Yunqi Alliance and contributed to Yunqi Town’s development. Additional accolades include the Annual Technology Pioneer award in the Biomedicine Sector of Zijin Port Science and Technology City and selection of the Yisheng Jiankang project among the Top 20 in the SATOL (China) Life Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, as well as the “2022 Future Healthcare Top 100 • China Innovative Digital Healthcare Top 100.” He holds an MBA from Zhejiang University (2010).
The appointment does not constitute a chief executive role under Hong Kong Listing Rule 13.51(2). Baiwang’s board currently comprises three executive directors, two non-executive directors and four independent non-executive directors.
