During his inspection tour in Nanchong from September 15 to 16, Vice Governor Hu Yun emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, as well as the work requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. He called for establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, maintaining strategic focus while seeking progress amidst stability, anchoring specific goals, and implementing targeted policies.

Hu Yun stressed the importance of accelerating the high-quality development of water conservancy, cultural tourism, and elderly care services, ensuring a strong start for the 15th Five-Year Plan period. He visited Xichong County, Gaoping District, and Shunqing District in Nanchong to inspect water conservancy project construction, urban-rural water supply integration, elderly care services, cultural tourism consumption, and scenic area reforms.

Regarding water conservancy, Hu Yun underlined the necessity of strictly controlling project quality and safety standards. He advocated for accelerating the integration of urban and rural water supply systems and advancing water rights and pricing reforms to fortify regional water security infrastructure. He also highlighted the need to fully leverage rural resource advantages and digital platform capabilities to promote new integrated development models such as pet-tourism integration, which can help drive sustained income growth for local residents.

In the field of elderly care, Hu Yun called for establishing a more robust community-based service framework, optimizing the supply of inclusive elderly care services, and strengthening protective measures such as fire safety. He also encouraged the development of smart elderly care platforms to deliver convenient and heartfelt services that bring care directly to seniors' doorsteps.

For cultural tourism, Hu Yun emphasized the importance of strengthening top-level design, creating new tourism consumption scenarios based on cultural characteristics and resource endowments. He urged the active revitalization of idle and underperforming assets, orderly advancement of management system reforms in scenic areas, and continuous efforts to upgrade scenic spots and improve overall quality and efficiency in the cultural tourism industry.
