During this period, worldwide sales reached 5.887 million units, marking a year-over-year increase of 57.24%, with total sales revenue hitting 15.689 billion yuan. Insta360 has disclosed that its cumulative global camera shipments have surpassed 10 million units, with 4.7 million units shipped over the past year alone.
In the panoramic camera segment, Insta360 led the industry with a 72.5% sales share, achieving share growth for two consecutive quarters. In the gimbal camera category, market reports indicate that Insta360's debut product, the Luna Ultra, captured a 23% share of the US Amazon market in its launch month, maintaining roughly a 20% share from June through August.
IDC data highlights Insta360's strong performance across all handheld intelligent imaging sub-sectors. Specifically, Insta360's panoramic camera sales share has climbed from 66% in 2025 to 72.5%, contributing over three-quarters of global sales revenue in this category. In the action camera field, Insta360 saw a 57.62% year-over-year sales increase in the second quarter, outpacing the industry's overall growth rate by more than 10 percentage points.
The ultra-flagship 8K panoramic camera X6, released this past August, received enthusiastic market feedback upon its debut. Domestically, it topped the panoramic camera sales charts across all three major platforms—Tmall, JD.com, and Douyin—while internationally, it simultaneously ranked first in related categories on Amazon's US, German, and Japanese sites.
