JD.com has officially launched its new service, CheFresh, on the evening of September 16th, positioning it as a "family health dietary executive." This innovative offering claims to be a world-first combination of "AI health meal planning, a premium pre-washed ingredient supply chain, and intelligent cooking robots," aiming to bring healthy eating into the daily meals of households with ease.

The CheFresh service is specifically designed for the family dining table, targeting consumers with clear health needs. It covers the entire chain from "AI health decision-making and nutritional plan development to per-meal ingredient delivery and smart cooking equipment." Essentially, CheFresh operates through its WeChat mini-program as the primary platform. Users upload their health information or that of their family members to receive a customized meal plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Following the plan, JD.com delivers corresponding pre-washed meal kits. Upon receiving them, users can scan a QR code on the kit with the household intelligent cooking robot provided by JD.com, place the designated ingredient package into the machine, and initiate the automated cooking process.

The CheFresh product line is available in three tiers. The first, a "Professional Edition" for home users, is priced at 19,888 yuan and includes the Health Brain cooking robot along with a 15,000 yuan credit for healthy meal accounts. The second is a premium "Heritage Edition" priced at 29,888 yuan, offering elevated health and family heritage experiences. The third is a module for professional institutions, which involves open cooperation to modularize and license the healthy meal execution capabilities.

With this launch, JD.com's strategy in the food and beverage consumption space now covers a wide spectrum of people, times, and scenarios. This includes JD.com's own food delivery service for dine-in and delivery, the "7Fresh Kitchen" (Qixian Xiaochu) concept, the recently introduced "home chef service" from JD Household, and now the "CheFresh" service for the home cooking scenario.
