This autumn, voters in his home state of California will cast ballots on a billionaire tax proposal that would impose a one-time 5% levy on state residents whose net assets exceed $1 billion.

In an exclusive interview with CBS, Huang expressed no opposition to paying tens of billions in additional taxes if the measure passes in November. "I have the capacity to pay $8 billion (about 54 billion yuan) in taxes within five years, and that is an honor," Huang stated. He elaborated, "I see it as both a privilege and a responsibility. If I could pay even more in taxes, I would be absolutely delighted."
