Shenglong Intl (08481) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, reporting a net loss of RMB10.517 million.

The company generated revenue of RMB232.6 million during the period, reflecting a 14% year-on-year decline. This compares unfavorably with a net profit of RMB19.954 million recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year, with basic loss per share standing at 2.60 cents.

The revenue contraction was driven by reduced contributions from both Chinese and overseas markets. Overseas market revenue fell by approximately 18.0% compared to the prior corresponding period, primarily attributed to weakened demand from Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, India, and Indonesia.

Additionally, demand from customers in China decreased by roughly 12.1% year-on-year. The overall revenue drop for the period was mainly attributable to lower selling prices and reduced sales volumes of decorative paper and melamine-impregnated paper.
