For the second quarter of 2026, TRIP.COM-S (9961.HK), also known as Trip.com Group Limited (TCOM), generated net revenues of RMB 15.7 billion, a 6% increase year-over-year. Adjusted EBITDA reached RMB 4.6 billion for the quarter, a decrease compared to the RMB 4.9 billion reported in the same period last year.

During the quarter, the company recorded a one-time charge of approximately RMB 5.2 billion related to an anti-monopoly penalty imposed by the State Administration for Market Regulation. As a result of this charge, the company posted a net loss of RMB 2.4 billion. However, excluding the financial impact of the anti-monopoly penalty, net profit would have been RMB 2.7 billion. The group stated that it sincerely accepts the administrative penalty decision, is implementing all required rectification measures in accordance with laws and regulations, and will continue to strengthen its long-term governance mechanisms.

A breakdown of business segments shows that accommodation reservation revenues reached RMB 6.6 billion, up 6% year-over-year. When excluding the revenue deduction effects related to the penalty, this segment grew by 8%. Transportation ticketing revenues came in at RMB 5.4 billion, a slight decline of 1% compared to last year. The travel package business generated RMB 1.2 billion in revenue, marking an 8% increase, while corporate travel management services contributed RMB 771 million, up 11% year-over-year.

Global operations continue to serve as a major engine for the group's overall growth. In the second quarter, revenue from the company's international platforms surged by more than 50% year-over-year. Furthermore, inbound tourism revenue maintained a strong double-digit growth rate, building on an already elevated comparison base from the previous year. Going forward, the group will continue to advance its globalization and high-quality strategies, leveraging its product offerings, services, and technology to deliver enhanced travel experiences for users while assisting partners in connecting with a broader market landscape.
