Wei Yuan Holdings Limited (WEI YUAN HLDG, 01343) released a positive profit alert, indicating an expected net profit of approximately S$3.10 million to S$3.50 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. This compares with S$0.30 million for the same period in 2025, representing a projected year-on-year increase of at least ten-fold.
Management attributed the profit surge to two primary factors: 1. A larger order book and a higher number of projects underway during the reporting period, which lifted revenue contributions. 2. Substantial execution progress on ongoing projects, allowing higher revenue and corresponding gross profit to be recognised under the percentage-of-completion method.
The figures are based on the Group’s unaudited consolidated management accounts and may be subject to adjustments. Full interim results for 1H26 are scheduled for release in August 2026. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
