In response to a regulatory guidance session held on September 15 by the State Administration for Market Regulation, together with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, regarding compliance requirements for the online hotel booking platform service sector, MEITUAN-W has issued a firm statement of support. The session called on major platforms, including Meituan, Douyin, JD.com, Ctrip, Tongcheng, and Fliggy, to strictly fulfill their main compliance responsibilities, mitigate industry competition risks, and foster a healthy and orderly tourism market environment.

In its official response, MEITUAN-W stated that it resolutely endorses the directive and will strictly adhere to the provisions of the Anti-Monopoly Law, the Anti-Unfair Competition Law, the E-Commerce Law, and the Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China. The company has committed to conducting a thorough self-review, actively implementing its primary market responsibilities, and resolutely prohibiting practices such as exclusive cooperation agreements and "lowest price across the entire internet" guarantees, in an effort to prevent risks associated with involution-style competition.

Furthermore, MEITUAN-W expressed its willingness to engage in fair market competition alongside other industry platforms, working together to establish a market order characterized by high quality and fair pricing. The company reaffirmed its dedication to safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, promoting a multi-win ecosystem across the platform, and supporting the standardized and healthy development of the industry.
