On the afternoon of September 16th, a cybersecurity awareness week event, jointly hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of Zhangjiagang Municipal Committee, the Municipal People's Procuratorate, and Nanfeng Town, was held at the town's New Era Civilization Practice Center. The event also marked the official launch of the "Feng Jian Tong Xing & Wei Ai Hu Wang" joint action for the protection of minors online, aiming to comprehensively reinforce cybersecurity defenses.
Since the start of this year, Nanfeng Town has been closely following the special action plan for "Clean and Bright: Protection of Minors Online" as required by the Central Cyberspace Administration of China. Leveraging the town's "New Seedling" development program, the initiative focuses on key groups such as local students, children in summer care classes, and "migratory birds" — children of migrant workers. The town has been precisely addressing the cybersecurity needs of young people through targeted education and guidance, with the goal of promoting healthy internet usage and sunny growth among minors.
Focusing on the protection of minors online and legal education, the Municipal People's Procuratorate has developed the "Love Cube & Youth Without Trouble" legal education brand. By bringing together teachers, medical professionals, and child protection workers, it has established a volunteer lecture team that actively conducts legal education and cybersecurity outreach in schools, enhancing young people's ability to guard against online risks.
During the event, outstanding lecturer representatives of "Love Cube & Youth Without Trouble" shared their work experiences, and newly appointed lecturers for 2026 were presented with their appointment certificates. Additionally, Nanfeng Town launched an internet assistance service station for enterprises, focusing on the network security needs of local businesses. Through professional service packages, the station aims to precisely address corporate pain points and challenges, empowering the high-quality development of enterprises in the area.
It was noted that during this Cybersecurity Awareness Week, Nanfeng Town will collaborate with the Cyberspace Administration of the Municipal Committee and the Municipal People's Procuratorate to bring exhibition boards, legal education short videos, research experiences, volunteer lectures, knowledge quizzes, and legal scenario dramas into schools, businesses, and households. Furthermore, through a party-building cooperation project between Nanfeng Middle School and China Telecom, special micro-courses on AI technology and science popularization will be offered, driving the full-spectrum, all-scenario implementation of legal education for the protection of minors online.
Going forward, through the "Feng Jian Tong Xing & Wei Ai Hu Wang" joint action, Nanfeng Town and the Municipal People's Procuratorate will continue to refine the "procuratorate-town-school-family-enterprise" five-in-one long-term protection system. They will deepen efforts in online governance and legal services for minors, striving to create a replicable and scalable "procuratorate-town co-construction" brand for the protection of minors online. At the same time, they will coordinate efforts in youth online protection and enterprise internet empowerment, fostering a clean digital environment where young people can grow up healthy and businesses can develop with peace of mind.
