At the 2026 Vivo Developer Conference held this afternoon, the company showcased its latest advancements in BlueMind AI strategy, OriginOS 7, BlueOS 4, as well as progress in ecosystem partnerships, security, and human-centric design.

Over the past year, Vivo's overseas shipment volumes have continued to surge, with key markets achieving multi-fold growth and the global user base approaching 600 million. Vivo Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Shi Yujian stated that in response to the AI wave, Vivo will deeply reconstruct system experiences through personalized intelligence, enabling AI to understand user intent, remember preferences, and perceive context, making intelligence truly personal. Vivo Vice President and OS Division Head, also head of Vivo AI Global Research Institute, Zhou Wei emphasized the need to continuously delve into user pain points and deliver distinctive, superior personalized AI products through scenario-based solutions.

To this end, the BlueMind AI strategy has advanced further, grounded in "personalized intelligence" and leveraging a "large model + Harness + intelligent agent security architecture" to rebuild the system experience. This includes the launch of a new personal AI assistant, BlueMind Xiao V, which redefines system-level AI applications. Vivo has constructed a personal-centric intelligent agent large model matrix, including the real-time voice model BlueLM-RealTime, on-device model BlueLM-Nano, and cloud-based models. The deeply integrated BlueMind Harness, fused with the OriginOS kernel, enhances perception, memory, planning, and execution capabilities, converting over 6,000 atomic skills into tools callable by intelligent agents and supporting more than 10,000 task types.

At the event, Vivo officially unveiled the new BlueMind Xiao V, which redefines mobile AI assistants with a more powerful Pro mode and deep personalization integrated into the system. The new BlueMind Xiao V Pro can autonomously break down tasks, integrate information across applications, and operate across devices, completing complex tasks like travel itinerary customization or cross-device report compilation with a single command. OriginOS 7, through system-level AI reconstruction in high-frequency scenarios such as screenshots, photo albums, files, input methods, and calendars, enables important information to surface proactively and complex tasks to be handled systemically. In design, OriginOS 7 introduces a new light-and-shadow aesthetic, threading this visual theme throughout the entire system experience. In terms of fluidity, OriginOS 7 enhances performance across three layers: silky smoothness, natural comfort, and sustained responsiveness over long-term use. Additionally, upgrades continue in audio-visual-tactile feedback, networking, and battery life.

During the conference, Vivo also formally introduced BlueOS 4, showcasing its latest exploration in kernel, framework, application development, and mobile-side intelligent agent capabilities. The new BlueOS 4 will debut on the Vivo WATCH 6, offering a smoother system experience, a smarter Xiao V assistant, and a richer wrist-worn application ecosystem. On security, Vivo has established an intelligent agent operation security foundation, incorporating unique agent IDs, minimal privilege access, on-device sandboxing, private cloud computing, AI firewalls, and full-process logging to ensure comprehensive security management across identity, authorization, operation, and auditing. This guarantees that every planning step is traceable and every critical action is user-approved.

Regarding human-centric care, Vivo this year took the lead in participating in the formulation of national standards for sign language digital humans, launching an AI sign language learning partner and upgrading its sign language translation feature. The company also continues to enhance accessibility tools such as TalkBack screen reading, Vivo See, and hearing assistance features on Vivo TWS 5 Pro. For developers, Vivo has further streamlined the onboarding channel for individual developers, offering end-to-end services from development and debugging to testing. Meanwhile, through the Golden Label Alliance, Vivo is advancing a fair memory usage mechanism, collaborating with industry partners to refine mobile ecosystem operating rules and jointly building an open, win-win application ecosystem.
