Qunabox Group Posts 1H 2026 Revenue Up 22% and Net Profit Up 30% as AI Marketing Gains Traction

Qunabox Group reported robust interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026, underscored by double-digit top- and bottom-line growth driven by its “AI + Consumption Scenarios” strategy.

Revenue expanded 22.2% year on year to RMB 826.55 million, powered chiefly by a 27.6% rise in marketing-services income to RMB 724.91 million. Within this segment, AI interactive marketing revenue more than doubled to RMB 131.60 million, lifting its share of total marketing services to 18.2% and delivering a 93.3% gross margin.

Group gross profit grew 27.1% to RMB 489.89 million, pushing overall gross margin up 2.3 percentage points to 59.3%. Operating efficiency also improved: aggregate selling, distribution, R&D and administrative expenses rose only 2.7% to RMB 296.50 million, trimming the expense ratio to 35.9% from 40.7% a year earlier.

Net profit advanced 30.3% to RMB 167.28 million, lifting the net margin to 20.2%. Earnings per share rose to RMB 0.63 (basic) and RMB 0.57 (diluted).

Cash and bank balances reached RMB 1.61 billion at period-end, up RMB 107.51 million versus end-2025, while interest-bearing bank borrowings stood at RMB 514.94 million. The gearing ratio improved to 24.6% from 26.1% six months earlier.

Key operating metrics reflected growing market penetration: • Brand customers increased 57.3% to 236, including 29 key-account clients whose average revenue contribution climbed 17.6% to RMB 19.00 million. • AI interactive marketing served 51 brand customers, pushing penetration to 21.6% from 17.3% a year ago.

Segment details: • AI standard marketing services revenue rose 22.4% to RMB 591.50 million. • Smart retail revenue added 2.9% to RMB 85.65 million, with gross margin improving to 30.4%. • Other services declined 35.9% to RMB 15.99 million.

R&D spending reached a record RMB 86.10 million, up 10.6% year on year, as the company advanced its “Omni-sensory Physical AI Agent” platform. Registered software copyrights held steady at 173, while patents rose to 28 with 133 additional applications pending.

Management reaffirmed its four-pillar strategy for 2H 2026: extend AI agent adaptation across categories, deepen customer penetration for high-margin services, enhance monetisation per key account, and progress overseas “physical AI entertainment” pilots—beginning with a flagship project in Singapore.

No interim dividend was declared.
