Chaoju Eye Care Holdings Limited disclosed a fresh share-buyback in its Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 11 September 2026.
On 11 September 2026 the company repurchased 38,500 ordinary shares on the Exchange at prices between HK$2.47 and HK$2.52, for a total consideration of HK$0.10 million. All of the repurchased shares are earmarked for cancellation.
Including this latest transaction, Chaoju Eye Care has bought back 5.12 million shares since its 12 May 2026 general mandate was granted, equivalent to 0.73 % of the 701.46 million shares outstanding on the mandate date. The mandate permits repurchases of up to 70.52 million shares, leaving approximately 65.40 million shares, or 92.74 % of the original limit, still available.
Between 31 August and 11 September 2026 the company accumulated 1.78 million shares pending cancellation, representing about 0.25 % of current issued shares. Despite these purchases, the issued share capital remains at 701.46 million shares until the cancellations are effected.
Pursuant to Hong Kong listing rules, Chaoju Eye Care is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring any treasury shares until 11 October 2026.
