Shares of ILUVATAR COREX (09903) jumped more than 8% in early trading, last up 6.55% at HK$125.30 with turnover reaching HK$159 million.
The share price rally follows the company's completion of a capitalisation issue on September 15, under which existing shareholders received two new shares for every one share held. Following the ex-rights adjustment, the share price was proportionally adjusted to one-third of its previous level, while shareholders' total market value remained unchanged.
Where to begin: This move is expected to lower the minimum trading lot threshold and boost the company's registered capital. Additionally, it could improve share liquidity and enhance flexibility for future capital operations.
Notably, on September 3, the Shanghai Data Bureau and Shanghai Communication Administration announced the first batch of computing power ecosystem partners for 2026, with 38 organisations selected. Among the 12 designated computing power suppliers is ILUVATAR COREX.
Adding to the momentum, the Hang Seng Tech Index constituent adjustments took effect on September 7. ILUVATAR COREX has now become the first and currently only GPU-sector stock included in the index.
