KWAN YONG has issued a positive profit alert, projecting a substantial rise in net profit attributable to shareholders for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
The company anticipates recording a net profit attributable to owners of approximately S$19.8 million, a significant jump from the S$12.8 million reported in the prior corresponding period ending June 30, 2025.
Based on currently available information, the board attributes this expected increase in profit primarily to enhanced cost efficiency across its ongoing construction projects during the year, despite cost pressures stemming from volatile global oil prices.
This improvement has been largely achieved through the group's adoption of effective cost control and procurement measures, including stricter site-level cost monitoring, which have helped mitigate the adverse impact of rising input costs on its in-progress projects.
