Guangzhou Tinci Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (002709.SZ) is reportedly seeking to raise approximately US$500 million to US$700 million (around HK$3.92 billion to HK$5.49 billion) through its Hong Kong initial public offering, according to market reports.

The company has once again submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as disclosed on March 27. JPMorgan Chase, CITIC Securities, and GF Securities are serving as joint sponsors for the offering.

The China Securities Regulatory Commission issued a filing notice in September, confirming that Guangzhou Tinci Materials plans to issue no more than 413 million overseas listed ordinary shares and list on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

According to the prospectus, the company is a technology-driven global leader in new energy and advanced materials, primarily focused on providing comprehensive solutions for lithium-ion battery materials, daily chemical materials, and specialty chemicals to enterprise clients worldwide.

The company is recognized as a global leader in the electrolyte sector, distinguishing itself through vertical integration capabilities and innovative technologies. It has established a complete value chain for the production of key electrolyte raw materials, including LiPF6, LiFSI, additives, and lithium carbonate.

Leveraging its R&D platform, engineering advantages, and cross-selling capabilities built on long-term customer partnerships, the company has successfully expanded into cathode materials (including iron phosphate and lithium iron phosphate) and lithium battery adhesives (including PACK structural adhesives and binders). This expansion has enabled it to form comprehensive lithium-ion battery material solutions while also positioning itself in advanced materials broadly applicable to emerging fields such as intelligent driving, eVTOL, semiconductors, advanced engineering, and AI thermal management.

The company's next-generation products include solid-state electrolytes, specialty adhesives and sealants for automotive electronics and semiconductors, high-performance polymers (primarily PEEK and PI), high-efficiency coolants, and flame-retardant materials.

Through its integrated R&D platform and advanced engineering capabilities, the company has established an efficient production model and strong product competitiveness, securing a globally leading position in both lithium-ion battery materials and daily chemical materials.

In its recently released semi-annual report for 2026, Guangzhou Tinci Materials (002709.SZ) reported operating revenue of 14.71 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 109.28%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 2.861 billion yuan, surging 967.91% year-on-year.
