Shares of TYK MEDICINES-B (02410) climbed steadily higher this morning, trading up 10.1% at HK$3.38 by the time of writing, with turnover reaching HK$3.89 million.
According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Chairman and President Wu Yusheng increased his stake by purchasing 170,000 shares on September 11 at a price of HK$2.7036 per share, involving approximately HK$459,600. Following this transaction, his total holdings rose to around 124 million shares, lifting his stake to 32.69%.
This follows Wu's earlier open-market purchases of 635,000 H-shares between September 8 and 10, worth approximately HK$2.09 million, with plans indicating that further buybacks are anticipated not to exceed HK$3 million in total.
Additionally, in late August, the company disclosed that its core product had successfully received regulatory approval. The self-developed next-generation EGFR-TKI innovative drug, Mesuxitinib Tablets (TY-9591), was granted conditional market authorization by the NMPA for use as a first-line treatment in adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring EGFR 19DEL or L858R substitution mutations accompanied by CNS metastases.
