At the 2026 Qiyuan Robot Global Product Launch held this afternoon, the company unveiled two personal robotics offerings, the Qiyuan Q1 and the Qiyuan T1. Peng Zhihui (known as Zhi Hui Jun), co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Qiyuan Robot and Chairman of Shangwei New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., highlighted that the Qiyuan Q1 is centered on customization, allowing users to design interactive movements and modify its appearance via 3D printing.

Unlike standard robotics on the market, this product aims to break away from a uniform solution set. Similar to raising a pet, the more time an owner invests, the more unique the robot becomes, offering ample space for creative personalization. In terms of design, the Qiyuan Q1 stands out as one of the few personal robots supporting 3D printing, with a fully open structure that encourages users to make inventive modifications to shape its look.

Beyond appearance, the robot's personality, gestures, speech tone, and voice timbre can all be tailored to individual preferences. "To me, the most interesting part of a robot isn't what it looks like when it leaves the factory, but what you can turn it into," said Peng. The Qiyuan Q1 is positioned as "your first personal robot," specifically engineered for home environments, capable of autonomous following without continuous remote control, and adaptable for outdoor use.
