Tangrenshen Group sold 492,300 hogs in August, comprising 270,300 commercial hogs and 221,900 piglets, with piglets accounting for nearly 45% of total sales—a reporting breakdown that differs from other companies focused primarily on commercial hogs. Sales volume rose 21.22% year-on-year and 22.38% month-on-month, while total revenue reached 410 million yuan, down 39.92% year-on-year but up 31.69% month-on-month. The company attributed the significant year-on-year revenue decline to fluctuations in the hog market and adjustments in its sales mix.
