On 15 September 2026, Jiangsu New Vision Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. (“New Vision”) announced a voluntary collaboration agreement with Zhejiang University to co-develop ultra-high-precision computer-generated holography (CGH) technologies for next-generation visual products and automotive head-up display (HUD) solutions.
The joint project targets five key deliverables: 1) creation of a CGH image-generation solution for visual applications; 2) completion of core CGH algorithms; 3) establishment of an experimental verification system; 4) engineering feasibility analysis; and 5) acceleration of CGH commercialisation in visual products.
Zhejiang University contributes state-level research platforms—including the State Key Laboratory of Extreme Photonics and Instrumentation and the National Engineering Research Center of Optical Instruments—alongside expertise in optoelectronic imaging, micro/nano-photonics and precision optical instruments.
New Vision and Zhejiang University will hold joint ownership of all intellectual property arising from the programme, a structure intended to strengthen New Vision’s competitive position in automotive display technology and support continuous product roll-outs.
The company stated that the collaboration does not constitute a notifiable or connected transaction under Hong Kong Listing Rules.
New Vision remains focused on HUD R&D under a “China + Overseas” strategy, integrating design, production and sales to build a global presence in visual and interactive technology.
