Shares of robotics-related companies rebounded in Hong Kong trading on Wednesday, with several names posting significant gains. Yunji Inc (02670) surged 23.38% to HK$100.0, while Laifu Harmonic (03952) advanced 9.85% to HK$51.3, Youdi Robotics (03231) climbed 6.29% to HK$40.2, and Zhaowei Electromechanical (02692) rose 3.53% to HK$38.1.

According to the latest industry research from Morgan Stanley, the global humanoid robotics sector is set to enter an explosive growth trajectory in the first half of 2026, with the related market size expanding 272% year-over-year. During that period, Chinese suppliers are expected to account for over 97% of global humanoid robot shipments. On the demand side, domestic Chinese application scenarios and customer requirements are projected to represent more than 85% of total global demand.

Morgan Stanley's China industrials team has significantly revised its 2026 shipment forecast for Chinese humanoid robots, raising the projection from 28,000 units to 50,000 units—an upgrade of nearly 80%. Looking further ahead, the bank expects Chinese humanoid robot shipments to climb to 446,000 units by 2030.

Meanwhile, Zheshang Securities noted that overseas, the third and fourth quarters represent a critical validation period for Tesla's humanoid robot production capacity ramp-up. Domestically, with Unitree Robotics now publicly listed, the domestic robotics supply chain is positioned to create a two-way resonance with overseas supply chains. The brokerage recommends investors continue monitoring core targets aligned with this industry trend.
