Communication infrastructure serves as the essential foundation for the operation of a digital society. China Mobile Mudanjiang (hereafter referred to as Mudanjiang Mobile) is implementing the provincial company's "Network Strengthening, Full-Stack Innovation" development strategy, following proactive business strategies and pragmatic management approaches. The company anchors its operations in the core telecommunications business while fulfilling the social responsibilities of a state-owned enterprise, focusing on three key livelihood scenarios: large-scale cultural tourism livestreams, urban commercial district events, and university freshman registration periods.

Adhering to network-business collaboration and proactive planning, Mudanjiang Mobile translates the "network-first" operational directive into frontline practice, delivering stable and reliable network supply to support urban consumption, educational services, and the smooth operation of the local economy and society.

Refining Cultural Tourism Livestream Support to Boost Local Brand Visibility

Recently, the "East Buy Explores the World" Mudanjiang special livestream event was successfully held. To ensure high-definition, smooth, and stable broadcasting of the cultural tourism livestream, Mudanjiang Mobile took the initiative to respond swiftly by assembling a dedicated support team. A tailored "one-event-one-plan" guarantee scheme was implemented for seven livestream locations, including Jingpo Lake and the Bohai State Ruins. The network deployment for this event covered 461 base stations, comprising 238 4G base stations with 458 4G cells, and 223 5G base stations with 465 5G cells.

During the support period, base station operations remained stable with comprehensive signal coverage. On-site personnel were stationed around the clock to monitor network performance metrics in real time and dynamically optimize network parameters, effectively addressing communication challenges posed by dispersed scenic spots and dense crowd convergence. The event achieved zero network failures, zero user complaints, stable 5G speeds, and a 100% voice call connection rate. This reliable communication support enabled the smooth execution of the cultural tourism livestream, leveraging network infrastructure to promote the Mudanjiang tourism brand and demonstrating the responsibility of a central state-owned enterprise.

Implementing Dedicated Commercial District Communication Safeguards Supporting Smooth Urban Consumer Operations

During the anniversary celebration of the Mudanjiang Wanda commercial complex, visitor density surged, mobile payments concentrated, and online livestreaming intensified, creating an exponential spike in real-time network demand. The complex building structure and heavy pedestrian traffic caused significant signal obstruction, making indoor signal optimization challenging. Testing and tuning windows were constrained to late-night hours after the mall closed. To ensure smooth communication during the event, Mudanjiang Mobile adhered to the principle of "guarantees in place before the event begins," assembling a dedicated support team in advance to conduct comprehensive signal testing across Wanda Plaza and surrounding commercial areas.

The team conducted floor-by-floor inspections of the indoor distribution system, optimized network parameters, expanded capacity in key zones, and repeatedly simulated peak crowd scenarios to ensure potential issues were resolved and capacity was fully provisioned in advance. On the event day, foot traffic at Wanda Plaza exceeded 30,000 visitors. Support personnel remained on-site throughout the event, continuously monitoring network performance metrics and promptly addressing any on-site contingencies. This ensured the uninterrupted availability of mobile payments, livestreaming, and online access services, providing communication support for the orderly execution of commercial activities and helping unleash local consumer vitality.

Optimizing Campus Network Operations Support Facilitating University Orientation Services

In September, universities including Mudanjiang Medical University, Heilongjiang Agricultural Economics Vocational College, and Mudanjiang Normal University welcomed the 2026 freshman class. The campus and surrounding areas feature a high density of base stations with extensive coverage, and orientation activities are concentrated within just a few days. Applications such as QR code registration, online fee payment, and video calls generate enormous instantaneous concurrent demand, presenting a challenging, time-sensitive, and high-standard network support scenario.

To safeguard campus networks during the orientation season, Mudanjiang Mobile coordinated maintenance resources in advance, conducting full-coverage inspections of campus and surrounding base stations. This included maintenance of tower ancillary facilities, elimination of equipment hazards, and optimization of wireless network parameters. Multiple rounds of field signal verification were carried out at core orientation venues. During registration, maintenance personnel were stationed on campus, monitoring network operations in real time to handle the surge of concurrent requests for registration, payments, and video calls. The company provided communication support for over 20,000 new students and their families, ensuring seamless connectivity and creating a stable digital environment for the enrollment process.

Mudanjiang Mobile will benchmark against the provincial company's "Three Increases, Three Enhancements" development objectives, focusing on improving network efficiency and business performance, addressing market share gaps in underperforming areas, and continuously refining the network construction and on-site support systems. By delivering communication services down to specific livelihood scenarios, the company aims to provide robust digital infrastructure support for the high-quality economic and social development of Mudanjiang.
