Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWMOTOR) disclosed that it repurchased 653,000 H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 15 September 2026. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 7.575 to HKD 7.645, translating into a volume-weighted average purchase price of HKD 7.604 and an aggregate consideration of HKD 4.97 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined marginally by 0.03 % to 2.30 billion shares. Treasury shares increased to 20.99 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 2.32 billion, as the repurchased shares were retained as treasury stock rather than cancelled.

The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 26 June 2026 that authorises the repurchase of up to 230.77 million shares. To date, Great Wall Motor has repurchased 20.99 million shares under this mandate, representing 0.91 % of the company’s issued share capital at the time of authorisation.

In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, effective until 15 October 2026.
