On September 20, according to reports, Qiyuan Robotics, a subsidiary of Shangwei New Materials, held a product launch event unveiling two new offerings, the Qiyuan Q1 and the Qiyuan T1. During the presentation, Shangwei New Materials CEO Tian Hua announced the official pricing structure, with the Qiyuan Q1 retailing at 19,999 yuan, the Qiyuan Q1 Exploration Edition priced at 26,999 yuan, the Qiyuan T1 set at 19,999 yuan, and the Qiyuan T1 Pro available for 29,999 yuan.

It was confirmed that shipments will commence sequentially on October 1, with orders available through the official mini-program and authorized e-commerce platforms. On the hardware front, the Qiyuan Q1 stands 88 centimeters tall and features a collapsible design that allows the unit to be stored within a backpack, while also supporting customization of its external structural components. In contrast, the Qiyuan T1 offers dual-mode configuration capabilities, enabling transitions between wheeled humanoid and quadruped forms.

Both robotic models have integrated Tencent Cloud's WorkBuddy system, leveraging embodied intelligence capabilities to serve household applications. In a separate interview with media outlets, Shangwei New Materials CEO Tian Hua articulated the company's ambition for its consumer-grade robotics line, stating that the goal is to establish Qiyuan as the "Apple" of the robotics sector. The launch event featured actors Huang Xiaoming and Hu Jun as product experience ambassadors for the Qiyuan Q1, where they shared their personal usage insights with attendees.
