Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (GEEKPLUS-W) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 15 September 2026, detailing a fresh share buyback conducted on the same date.
The company repurchased 1.40 million Class B weighted voting right (WVR) ordinary shares on-market at prices ranging from HKD 8.16 to HKD 8.65 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 11.59 million. The volume-weighted average repurchase price was approximately HKD 8.28 per share.
Following the transaction, the number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.142 % to 982.00 million, down from 983.40 million. Treasury shares increased to 42.15 million, while the company’s total issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.02 billion shares.
The repurchase forms part of a mandate granted on 26 May 2026 authorising the company to buy back up to 102.42 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 42.15 million shares, representing 4.12 % of the issued share base as at the mandate date.
In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, GEEKPLUS-W is subject to a moratorium on issuing, selling or transferring shares until 15 October 2026. All shares bought on 15 September 2026 have been retained as treasury stock, with no cancellations recorded.
