At the launch event for Qiyuan Robotics' new products on September 20, held under the umbrella of Shangwei New Materials, industry sources revealed that the DIY-character personal robot, the Qiyuan Q1, is priced from 19,999 yuan, with the Explorer Edition retailing at 26,999 yuan. Additionally, the transformable personal robot, the T1, starts at 19,999 yuan, while its Pro version is available for 29,999 yuan.

During a media interview on the same day, Shangwei New Materials' CEO, Tian Hua, stated that the company's ambition for its consumer-grade products is to establish Qiyuan as the "Apple" of the robotics sector, positioning personal robots as the new gateway to the digital realm. Notably, the pricing for the newly launched Apple foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, ranges from 15,999 yuan to 26,499 yuan across its different variants, solidifying its status as the most expensive handset in Apple's history. This puts the high-end configurations of Qiyuan's robots above the cost of the premium foldable device.
