Xinhua News Media replaces Company Secretary and Authorised Representative

Xinhua News Media Holdings Limited announced that, effective 31 March 2026, Ms. Tam Hang Yin has resigned as Company Secretary, Authorised Representative under Listing Rule 3.05, and Process Agent under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance. The board confirmed that Ms. Tam had no disagreements with directors and no matters requiring shareholder attention.

Mr. Yuen Sing Wai Lester has been appointed to all three positions with effect from the same date. Mr. Yuen is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and meets the professional qualification requirements under Listing Rule 3.28. His career spans more than thirteen years across legal, accounting, corporate governance and compliance functions, including senior roles at two Big Four accounting firms and a dual-listed European healthcare group. He holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Distinction) degrees from the University of New South Wales.

The board expressed gratitude to Ms. Tam for her service and extended a formal welcome to Mr. Yuen.
