Trip.com Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Shares Rise Pre-Bell

Trip.com Group (TCOM) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of 7.27 Chinese renminbi ($1.08) per diluted American depositary share, up from 7.20 renminbi a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected 5.94 renminbi.

Net revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was 15.66 billion renminbi, compared with 14.84 billion renminbi a year earlier.

Analysts expected 15.56 billion renminbi.

Shares of the company rose more than 4% in Wednesday premarket activity.
