Update: Kestra Medical Technologies Slumps Pre-Bell After Fiscal Q1 Net Loss Widens Amid Surging Sales

Kestra Medical Technologies' (KMTS) shares fell 9% in Tuesday's pre-market activity after the company reported a wider-than-anticipated fiscal Q1 loss, taking the shine off its revenue beat and improved full-year sales outlook.

The company reported a fiscal Q1 net loss late Monday of $0.75 per diluted share, widening from a loss of $0.50 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.62.

Revenue for the quarter ended July 31 was $31.0 million, up from $19.3 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $29 million.

For fiscal 2027, Kestra now expects revenue of $141 million, compared with its previous guidance of $137 million. Analysts expect $137 million.
