Market Chatter: Goldman Sachs Among Anchor Investors in NSE IPO

Goldman Sachs' (GS) Goldman Sachs Asset Management unit, Franklin Templeton (BEN) and Fidelity International are among global investors expected to participate in the National Stock Exchange of India's IPO anchor book, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The exchange is seeking to raise as much as 226 billion Indian rupees ($2.36 billion), with the anchor book scheduled to open on Sept. 16, the report said.

The exchange is scheduled to start accepting investor orders from Sept. 17 through Sept. 21, with a potential Sept. 24 listing, Bloomberg reported.

The anchor book could potentially total about 68 billion rupees, according to the report.

Goldman Sachs did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
