0706 GMT - Eurozone government bond yields fall in early trade, tracking the direction of U.S. Treasury yields. The day's key event, albeit after European market close, will be the Federal Reserve's interest-rate rate decision, where a 25-basis-point hike is nowwidely anticipated. "Bond markets look set to stabilise ahead of the Fed's expected 25bp rate hike tonight," Commerzbank's Hauke Siemssen says in a note. "Hopes are high for the Fed to upend the severe bond market selloff," the rates strategist says. Government bond supply will come from Germany which will auction 2.5 billion euros in May 2047- and August 2056-dated Bunds. The 10-year Bund yield falls 1.1bps to 3.529%, having on Tuesday hit 3.572%, the highest since 2009.
