New York Times (NYT) shares were up 3.5% in Tuesday trading after Guggenheim upgraded its rating on the company's stock to buy from neutral and adjusted its price target to $82 from $70.
Trading volume stood at 1.1 million shares, compared with a daily average of nearly 2 million.
