Ingram Micro said it is entering a new chapter, transitioning from a technology distribution company to create an intelligent operating system for the business-to-business, information-technology ecosystem.

"We are uniquely positioned to help connect demand and supply in smarter ways so customers and vendor partners can operate more efficiently and unlock new opportunities for growth," Chief Executive Paul Bay said Tuesday.

At its inaugural Capital Markets Day, Ingram said it expects net sales to grow at a compounded annual rate of 4% to 6% between 2026 and 2029. Gross profit is projected to grow at a compounded annual rate of 5% to 7% over the same period.

In the short term, the company said third-quarter earnings are anticipated to come in at the high end of its previously issued outlook. In July, Ingram had guided for adjusted earnings of 72 cents to 82 cents a share on net sales of $13.55 billion to $13.95 billion.

Analysts polled by FactSet are looking for adjusted earnings of 78 cents a share on sales of $13.79 billion.
