Colombia’s UCO sector sets regional benchmark\nMarket participants at REAM highlighted Colombia as one of the most developed and structured used cooking oil (UCO) markets in South America, citing higher levels of collection efficiency and organization compared with neighboring countries such as Brazil and Argentina. Sources said Colombia has built a more mature collection network and supply chain, allowing market participants to better track volumes from collection points through to final processing and export channels.
