Asian Paints (NSE:ASIANPAINT, BOM:500820) has started commercial production of vinyl acetate ethylene emulsion at its manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat, according to a Thursday exchange filing.
The plant has an installed capacity of 150,000 tonnes a year, with the VAE output primarily intended for captive use at the company's paint manufacturing facilities.
