TRex Bio filed for an initial public offering.

The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company plans to trade shares on Nasdaq under the ticker TRXB. It didn't disclose the pricing or amount of shares it intends to offer.

TRex is focused on using regulatory T cell biology for the discovery and development of medicines that restore immune balance and promote tissue repair for people with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Regulatory T cells can actively orchestrate tissue-immune homeostasis and repair, TRex said.

The company's most advanced product candidate is TRB-061, an investigational tumor necrosis factor receptor designed to expand and activate regulatory T cells in inflamed tissues. TRex is testing the product as a treatment for atopic dermatitis and expects to have results by mid-2027.

It is also developing TRB-071, an investigational product that TRex believes could help treat inflammatory bowel disease. It expects to enter a Phase 1 trial in the first half of 2027.

During the six months ended June 30, TRex recorded a net loss of $11.6 million, or $6.23 a year. It is not generating revenue.
