Kanematsu to Acquire IDAJ and Subsidiaries for 50.1 Billion Yen

Kanematsu's (TYO:8020) unit Kanematsu Electronics has agreed to acquire all shares of BCJ-61, whose group includes IDAJ and its subsidiaries, for 50.1 billion yen, effective Oct. 1.

IDAJ specializes in Model-Based Development or Computer-Aided Engineering software sales, technical support, and consulting.

IDAJ has a combined net sales of 14.7 billion yen and an operating profit of 2.7 billion yen for the fiscal year ended September 2025, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.

Through the acquisition, Kanematsu aims to expand into upstream design and development processes and provide seamless design and development DX solutions from design through manufacturing.
