CleanSpark has revealed Facebook parent Meta Platforms as the tenant of the 175-megawatt data center the company is building in Sandersville, Ga.

CleanSpark on Thursday said it plans to sell nearly $2.23 billion in senior secured notes due 2031 in a private offering to fund the build-out of the data center, which the Henderson, Nev., company said is positioned for initial delivery in late 2027.

CleanSpark in July said it had secured a lease for the data center from an undisclosed technology company that it expects will bring in about $6.6 billion in contracted revenue over 20 years, and that the same company had signed a letter of intent and exclusivity arrangement covering CleanSpark's entire Texas portfolio of up to 885 megawatts of secured and planned power capacity.

In an investor presentation related to the notes offering, CleanSpark revealed that Meta Platforms is the tenant, and that rent revenue will begin in November 2027, after the first network hall is completed.
