Elastic Says Cross-Project Search Now Available for Elastic Cloud Serverless

Elastic (ESTC) said Thursday that cross-project search is now generally available for Elastic Cloud Serverless, allowing customers to query data across multiple serverless projects without moving or duplicating it.
The feature supports up to 100 linked projects by default across Search, Observability, Security and Vector Database workloads, while enabling machine learning anomaly detection, data transforms and Agent Builder queries with project-level access controls, Elastic said.
The company said the feature can reduce costs by keeping data in place and adds project-routing controls and programmatic access for teams building applications and pipelines.
